PITTSBURGH (July 22, 2022) – The Pittsburgh Knights professional esports organization will introduce today their new Knight Games Collection in collaboration with ThetaLabs and Atlanta-based digital artist Kalani Lindsey.
Launching today at 4:00 pm (EST), and available for purchase in the ThetaDrop Marketplace, this artist-driven series will combine collectible Knights brand visual elements, special one-of-a-kind branded merchandise, and unique experiential activation opportunities for the Theta community.
Following up on the successful debut of the Knight Commander pack for Drop 1 (that sold out in hours), this second artist collaboration features original and exclusive commissioned digital artwork by Lindsey. Kalani is an emerging illustrator and concept artist in the video game industry. His art inspiration and style is influenced by classic anime, old ‘80s and ‘90s movies, Japanese art, and tattoos.
In addition to the artwork, the other compelling part of this new collection is that each digital collectible comes with access to a cache of utilities. These benefits include access to an exclusive community and private gaming events, as well as special airdrops of merchandise and tickets. Other benefits include the opportunity to join Knights’ strategic advisor Wiz Khalifa in a closed group AMA or to play Rocket League with him.

We’re excited to launch this exclusive artist-driven NFT series,” said Knights Director of Business Development Matt Roche. They allow fans to connect with the gaming world in a new way by purchasing artwork that puts a creative spin on the virtual worlds they love in a distinct style that speaks to gamers. The Knight Commander, and now the Knight Games collection, also offer a fun and unique way to introduce people to the Knights aesthetic and our story.
The Knight Games drop will be available for purchase in a closed pack where the image reveals upon “opening.” In the 575-item collection, no two pieces are alike and some will feature more rare elements than others.
The Knights are also launching a limited-run merch collection featuring clothing and accessories inspired by this artwork, available on store.knights.gg
