New Partnerships to Debut at Gaming Expo This Summer
Pittsburgh, PA (July 22, 2019) – The Pittsburgh Knights are honored to welcome five new event sponsors: Carvana, Red Bull, the US Army, Kraken Rum, and MSI. These partners will help to make Knights events exciting and fun for the whole family.
Their inaugural event will be Replay FX, taking place at Pittsburgh’s David L. Lawrence Convention Center, August 1 – 4. Replay FX is video gaming and pinball expo where retro and modern games unite. Esports competitions, new and retro video games, and hundreds full-sized arcade and pinball machines will be featured, including the world’s largest pinball tournament with $100,000 in prizes. This year, the event is expected to draw nearly 20,000 attendees from all across the globe.
The main esports gaming stage will be sponsored by Carvana, the no-dealership car provider, while the PC LAN area is sponsored by MSI. Along with gaming tournaments, the event will also feature live music and a cosplay contest. The US Army is bringing in the cavalry with one of their brand new mobile battlestation trucks, hosting a multitude of setups to play your favorite games. Stern Pinball, the go-to brand for pinball enthusiasts, will be on site with a booth for retro gaming buffs, and the pinball main stage will be sponsored by Ebay for the second year. Red Bull will be giving wings to the competition as the official energy drink of Replay FX. And when it’s time to relax, Kraken Rum will be there providing a summer oasis with the Rum Runners’ Hideaway Bar.
Knights champion partners Sheetz and Smile Direct Club are excited to join in the festivities as well and will each have a unique presence at the expo. Strategic partnerships manager for the Knights, Matt Roche, spoke of these new event sponsors, saying, “The Knights are incredibly proud to partner with these organizations.
