PITTSBURGH, PA (April 15, 2019) Pittsburgh’s official esports team is partnering with one of America’s fastest growing family-owned and operated convenience store chains – Sheetz. Sheetz will be one of the Knights’ Champion Partners and the Knights will be rolling out new jerseys emblazoned with the Sheetz logo.
Founded in 1952 not far from Pittsburgh, Sheetz is a local favorite that now has 589 store locations across Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland. Known for their delicious MTO® (Made to Order) offerings, touch screen order terminals and 24/7 service, Sheetz is ready to make a splash in the gaming scene. In February, Sheetz decided to have some fun and started streaming on Twitch, chatting with fans on the popular game-streaming platform while playing games like PUBG and Apex Legends. They have even had some gaming gear giveaways on Twitter, paving the way for their first professional e-sports partnership.
