The Knights Attend the Pittsburgh Entrepreneurs Forum
PITTSBURGH, PA, May 9, 2018 – This Wednesday, Pittsburgh’s favorite esports team will take center-stage at the Pittsburgh Entrepreneurs Forum. The event, titled “The Future of Esports,” will focus on the rise of esports, the current climate, and where the industry will go. There will be drinks and appetizers followed by a discussion with three panelists, including our very own James O’Connor and Rob Lee. The Knights co-founders will discuss their experience in the industry, their path to starting the Knights, and how esports organizations become lucrative. Afterwards, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the panelists, network with other attendees, and learn more about
the Knight’s rapid growth, business ventures, and plans for the future.
Esports has become an increasingly popular investment area. Celebrities, sports teams, and corporations like Comcast, Jennifer Lopez, Shaquille O’Neal, the Patriots, the New York Yankees, and many more own esports franchises.

The Pittsburgh Entrepreneurs Forum was started almost 30 years ago under the name MIT Enterprise Forum of Pittsburgh. Last year, the organization rebranded, calling themselves the Pittsburgh Entrepreneurs Forum. The organization aims “to inform, connect and coach technology entrepreneurs—enabling them to rapidly transform ideas into world-changing companies”. The organization’s annual sponsors include the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University’s Center for Technology Transfer and Enterprise Creation, Innovation Works, UPMC Health Plan, BNY Mellon, and several other prominent organizations in the Pittsburgh area.
