Pittsburgh, PA (April 26, 2019) – Heading into Phase 2 of the PUBG Europe League, the Pittsburgh Knights have reworked their roster, adding two new players. The lineup will consist of Carl “Draedon” Birgersson, Marcus “Realzx” Vining, Alexander “Zhnark” Hammar, and Mads “wan7ed” Jacobsen.
Both Zhnark and wan7ed are former members of Raise Your Edge Gaming. RYE took 11th place in phase 1 of the PEL with Zhnark garnering 67 kills and Wan7ed, 60.
“Zhnark is a very aggressive player and is not afraid to take fights,” says Garett Bambrough, player manager for the Knights. “wan7ed has the same style and will be on the front lines with him.” As for how they’ll mesh with the rest of the team, Bambrough believes the two will “bring in fresh ideas that will compliment the styles and strategies of Realzx and Draedon.”
Draedon has played with the Knights since September 2017 and Realzx joined the team this past January for PEL phase 1. Former teammates Vox and Krama have moved on to Pecadores and Vitality, respectively.
Zhnark is ready to don the Knights’ armor and work with his new teammates. “I’m excited about joining the Knights,” he says. “It seems like we’re on the same page outside of the game and now we have to apply that ingame.” wan7ed agrees, saying, “I know this team can do big things and I’m excited to show it.” Zhnark wants to show something as well, adding, “I hope we can show these teams in phase 2 that they should be scared of us.”
